Tulsa County filings as of 5 p.m. Tuesday. I have been hearing of at least three candidates with previous campaign experience (two of them prior office holders) looking at the District 3 county commission race now that incumbent Bob Dick has withdrawn from the race.

(Our District Attorney serves only Tulsa County, but nevertheless he's considered a state officer, and filing is handled by the State Election Board. Tim Harris has filed for re-election, and he is being challenged by Republican Brett Swab.)

Tracey Wilson is the new president of our neighborhood association in North Tulsa County. We formed after the land grab attempt by Mayor Lafortune. However, we also know we are still in dire straits up here because of one man who owns many square miles of land in this area. We are proud that Mr. Wilson has stepped up to the plate to run. We have also heard that Smaligo is going to run, but I am sorely afraid of his positions as he is the darling of Owasso. Do you have any history on Mr. Smaligo other than he is a Republican?
