Neither geek nor dork

How I scored on the Nerd, Geek, or Dork test:

Pure Nerd

69 % Nerd, 13% Geek, 26% Dork

For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.

Congratulations!

I've got you beat on the Dork, but you're fairly better on the Geek. DANG!

A little riddle:
Where do Geeks and Nerds go when they die?

Answer typed backwards:
nooM eht fo ediS korD ehT

I misspelled kroD.

Did I just point out a misspelling?

Greg Bledsoe:

I was 69 % Nerd, 26% Geek, 34% Dork.

Looks like great minds think alike!!!

Robert:

Don't know what this makes me , but what's up with the percentages (108%,111%) ?

Each of the three numbers is an independent variable on a scale of 0 to 100%. You're obviously not nerdy enough, Robert, or you would have realized that.

Really, they should have made the scores on a scale of 0 to 800. You know, like the SATs. Or maybe 0 to 255, like RGB color values.

Robert:

Michael,
My numbers are 69 nerd, 13 geek and 17 dork.
Age/gender 75N 11G 19D
It would appear relative to your numbers that I'm not enough of a dork. To me it's a definition thing , but I'm still mad that snuck sneaked into the dictionary.
Robert

I'm mostly geek and dork, and not so much nerd. Stands to reason: I've always been really into learning about stuff that's important to me, but resisted putting any effort into anything just because teachers or authority figures said it was important. It's a good thing they weren't so heavily into psycopharmacology back in my school days, or I'd have been Ritalined into submission for telling so many teachers they were full of shit.
