do you know anything about Austin Hansen? I would support anyone running against the RINO of Dist 8.
Austin Hansen has run several times for City Council (from District 5) and for State Senate. Sometimes he runs as a Republican. Sometimes he runs as a Democrat.
You might want to dig a little into this as it has implications all over our city:

Bumgarner (of SB1324 fame) is at it again, trying to flat out break all the PUD rules to make himself a buck. This one has all the trappings of a good soap opera, even had a connection to Troy Aikman! Mr. Bill RINO is fixing to sell out his neighborhoods for the almighty dollar.
Austin Hansen is a person who is fair, straight forward and honest. And, one who has only the best interests of the community at heart. I've known Austin for 38 years. We were in school together from 6th grade through graduation. In that time, I learned of his dedication to his beliefs and his ability to follow through with them. He has always worked within and contributed to the community. His belief in Tulsa and its communities is what keeps him living there today. He is a college graduate who also holds an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy.
As far as having run on both the Republican ticket and the Democratic ticket, he believes that to understand another person, you have to walk a mile in their shoes. So, he has spent time in both parties to better understand the different points of view in order to provide a better rounded service for the people.
