That was the terrifc band that Springsteen assembled for his "We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions" album and tour a couple of years ago.
The project was basically re-recordings of old Pete Seeger folk tunes. The great part was the music didn't sound like the stiff, tame folk tunes you hear at coffeehouses. This was rollicking music from long ago that came from Saturday night barn dances, smoky taverns, front porches and, yes, even Southern churches. Wonderful stuff.
"Open All Night," however, is a Springsteen tune. The Boss does like to recast his material occasionally if the circumstances warrant.
