Tulsa Boy Singers Christmas concerts

UPDATE: The Tulsa Boy Singers will be performing on Six in the Morning on Thursday, December 18. The brief segments with TBS will air at 7:50 a.m. on KOTV (Channel 6), and at 8:10 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on KQCW (UHF Channel 19 / Cox Cable Channel 12).

The Tulsa Boy Singers will present their annual Christmas concert this Friday and Saturday night, December 19 and 20, 2008, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 5th & Cincinnati in downtown Tulsa. The program begins each night at 7:30. Admission is by donation. The program will include a variety of sacred and secular Christmas favorites.

Following each concert, TBS staff will be available to conduct a brief audition for boys who are interested in joining the choir. If you know a boy age 8 through 18 who would like to sing, come to one of the concerts. The choir includes both trebles (boy sopranos) and boys whose voices have changed and sing alto, tenor, and bass parts. My 12-year-old son is in his fourth year with TBS and continues to enjoy both the music and the camaraderie with his fellow singers.
