The Soul of the Game | This Land Press

Good story about professional soccer in Tulsa, weaving together the stories of Charlie Mitchell and the original Tulsa Roughnecks, Tony Dalesandro and the Tulsa Athletics, playing this summer at old Driller Stadium, and the new Tulsa Roughnecks, starting in 2015 at Oneok Field. I especially enjoyed learning about Charlie Mitchell's special connection with Pele's American career -- Mitchell had the assist on Pele's first bicycle-kick goal in the US.
